Dana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. She has a BA in English and a minor in Psychology from University of California, Davis. She believes that clients deserve to find a therapist that can provide an authentic and safe healing environment that allows them to feel seen and heard. She has worked in community mental health, HIV+ case management, substance use, and school settings. She has extensive experience providing support for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, +), and polyamorous communities around navigating relationships, intimate partner violence, coming out, substance abuse, gender affirming exploration, school stress, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and adjustment to living with HIV.

She relies on an intersectional trauma informed lens to approach the concerns her clients want to explore. Dana utilizes a combination of interventions including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness exercises, and creative expression to support clients in deepening their wellness journey and finding practical strategies to implement change. Her goal in working with clients is to collaborate with them to help interrupt and constructively address patterns of behavior that no longer serve their needs.

When not holding space for clients in therapy, she enjoys playing with her two dogs, cooking, and reading. She looks forward to collaborating with her clients in their healing process and supporting them in tapping into their joy to live more authentically.
